Jesse Armstrong is a producer, director, and writer best known for creating SUCCESSION for which he won seven Emmy Awards. For co-writing the screenplay for IN THE LOOP, he was nominated for the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar.

Bill Henry began his career in Los Angeles as a feature film apprentice. Ten years later he moved to NYC to be John Bloom’s First Assistant on “The First Wives Club,” a collaboration that later brought an introduction to Mike Nichols on HBO’s “Angels in America.” Two more Nichols’ films followed, as an Additional Editor on “Closer” and “Charlie Wilson’s War.” In 2010, he cut Victoria Mahoney’s feature debut “Yelling to the Sky,” which was selected for competition in the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.

Bill’s television career highlights include NBC’s musical drama “SMASH,” Garry Trudeau’s political satire “Alpha House” for Amazon, Netflix’s “Marco Polo,” Apple+’s “Dickinson,” HBO’s “The Gilded Age” and Seasons 2 & 4 of HBO’s Emmy winning Drama series “Succession” for which he garnered 2 Emmy nominations and won for the Season 2 finale, ‘This is Not for Tears.’ He was also recognized with an ACE nomination for ‘Connor’s Wedding.’ Most recently he reunited with Jesse Armstrong on the HBO Original Film “Mountainhead,” which is an Emmy nominee for Outstanding Television Movie. Two Netflix shows are due in ‘26: the limited series “His & Hers” starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal and Dan Levy’s new project “Big Mistakes.”

He resides in Manhattan with his husband Gabriel and their Jack Russell Terrier, Myra.
